Cancelation, Access, and Refund Policy: Customer agrees to pay in full for all services provided and payment is due within 48 hours of assessment completion. Customers may cancel or reschedule an appointment at no cost 24 hours in advance of the set appointment. There are no refunds for cancelations or rescheduling requests less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. If access to the property (via authorized person or lockbox) is not provided at the time of the appointment, the Home Energy Score will not be provided and there will be no refund issued. The homeowner must ensure easy access to all parts of the home including but not limited to the attic or crawlspace. No refunds will be issued after the Home Energy Score assessment is complete.

Quality Assurance Program. If Earth Advantage, the City of Portland's designated Quality Assurance Provider, requests a correction to the score, the customer agrees to give access to PDX HIVE LLC's assessors to the property within four business days of the request. There are no charges for any required corrections.

Limitation of Liability. Customer agrees that PDX HIVE LLC will not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential damages, or unforeseeable damages, whether based on contract, tort, or any other legal theory, including without limitation loss of profits, loss of business, or other economic damages. PDX HIVE LLC's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the purchase price paid for any products or services the customer ordered.

Publicly Available Information. Please note, your property's score is public. Customer acknowledges and agrees to the following, as stated in the City of Portland rules: “Individual consent: In accordance with Portland City Code Chapter 17.108 (adopted by Ordinance No. 188413 and effective January 1, 2018), Home Energy Scores produced in Portland will be made publicly available through real estate listings. Thus, these scores and any associated information will not be treated as confidential. The customer hereby consents to allow the Home Energy Score Report to be collected and stored in order to meet the disclosure requirements via accepted and secure methods of data transportation, for the specific purpose of publishing it on a database which will auto-populate or otherwise be uploaded to the Regional Multiple Listing Service (RMLS) and/or similar real estate listing services and be identifiable to homeowner's property on the listing service.

Conflict of Interest. ​As part of our ethical standards, PDX HIVE is not affiliated with a real estate agency and does not offer home energy improvement services or​ collect referral fees from our service providers.

Homeowner Requirements. Homeowners are required to post their Home Energy Score report on advertisements for the property and provide printed copies on-site.
