Have you run into un-permitted work when buying a house? Are you looking for strategies to navigate permit issues that come up? Check out our new CE class!


PDX HIVE is partnering with Tim Young, from W.B Wells (an Emerio company), to offer a live webinar that will provide critical information on how permits work. Tim will provide real-life examples of permit issues that come up often and how to mitigate them. The class will be taught in a conversational style, so come with your questions!

 

Some of the class topics include:

  • Where did building codes come from?

  • When is a permit required? How do you find out?

  • What happens if a permit is obtained but expires?

  • Is there a Statute of Limitations on building permits?

  • What are my resources for finding out about permit requirements?


The class will be offered as a LIVE webinar and HIVE Academy will provide 1 CE credit for real estate agents.
